Sachin Rajesh Pilot (born September 7, 1977) is a politician and member of the Indian National Congress. He was a member of the Indian Parliament at the 15th Lok Sabha, representing the Ajmer constituency in Rajasthan. He is also responsible for business affairs at the Second Manmohan Singh Ministry and is currently chair of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.
Early life
Sachin was born in the city of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh in a Gurjar family. He is the son of the leader Rajesh Pilot and Rama Pilot. His father was a minister of the Union of India. His ancestral village is Vaidpura in Noida.
He studied at the Air Force Bharati School, New Delhi, and at the University of St. Stephens College, University of Delhi, a degree in Marketing from IMT Ghaziabad and an MBA from the School of the University of Pennsylvania , Philadelphia, United States.
He worked for the Delhi office of the British Broadcasting Corporation, then for the American multinational General Motors for two years.
Personal life
Sara Abdullah, January 15, 2004. Sara Abdullah is the daughter of Farooq Abdullah. Together, they have two sons, Aaran and Vehaan. Sachin Pilot and Sara Pilot are currently living in Ghaziabad.
Political life
He is the son of a senior politician Rajesh Pilot. Pilot member of the Lok Sabha Standing Committee on Internal Affairs and member of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
In the 2009 elections in Lok Sabha, there was a fight between Kiran Maheshwari of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 76,000 votes and the siege of Ajmer.
In the 2014 elections in Lok Sabha, he was appointed new to the Ajmer constituency. The pilot, MP for Ajmer, defended a margin of 1.71.983 votes by the deputy of Bharatiya Janata, the deputy Sanwarlal Jat.
Army service
Sachin Pilot, on September 6, 2012, became prime minister of the Indian Union to be appointed officer in the Territorial Army, thus realizing his desire to follow in his father's footsteps to join the armed forces. He is known as the Lieutenant Pilot for being an officer in the Territorial Army. After serving, he said, "It has been my wish to join the army for a very long time, because I want to have links with the armed forces, like my father and my grandfather, part of this family."
